It was already harmful because it was not from the heart. >From the moment the 'ego flag' goes up, the heart is closed of the person who waves the flag and it closes the heart of the person whom it is waved at. There is a different way of dealing with that... and you indicated that too. When one lives in the heart one does not see ego in anybody... one may see a suffering person, a person who has been traumatized in their right to exist freely, autonomously and in mutuality on an equal basis. One wants to understand that trauma compassionately. Understanding and compassion do not arise when the topic of ego comes into play, it kicks pretty well everyone instantly out of the heart. > Words from the heart depict compassion....and > compassion can be in many forms.. > but it never masks truth..... Absolutely, and that was happening... someone started to unmask a truth... And that truth has nothing to do with a few quotes and attributions (although that would have been very nice.) What was important was that that person who quoted those words understood those words for the first time, whilst before she did not... That is reason for congratulations from the heart first and then you may also suggest that she next time indicate the source. That is what I meant with being gentle. Anyway Norma, see if you can see a bit of heart in this response... Let's burn that 'ego flag'... Oops ... did you feel what that remark did? Let's burn it quickly now Love, Wim
