Namaste Vicki et al,

 

It seems to me the outer guru is a crutch and that is fine, if

necessary. With regard to guru and japa. It is my opinion that one

must become the japa. If one is conscious of doing japa one isn't

doing it. The need for an outer guru is just a form of concentration,

which is preliminary to meditation or dhyana......Om Namah
