Guest guest
Some may also know that the 6 Sanskrit phonetics of the Mantra spoken as Om NaMa Shi Va Ya translate into Om .. the primordal I AM and the other 5 are literally the Sk. phonetics for the 5 elements , Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether .. In other words.. I am the interpenetration of all of the elements I am all that is. This is why in some circles, this is known as a "seed mantra" cw At 01:02 PM 22/04/01, I wrote .. >RERE = YHWH > >It is the Egyptian equivalent of the Tetragrammaton > >The sound of the inbreath and the outbreath .. > >The three Hindu Archetypes of the Sri Yantra > >The Creator, the Destroyer and the Sustainer .. > >The Trinity .. > >The full comes to empty, the empty comes to full >such is the way of the eternal Tao .. > >Contained within the Yantra .. and indeed, the Star of David >are the Alchemical symbols for the elements > Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether .. > >The interpenetrations of each within itself as an element >makes up the whole .. > >The rose on the doorway contain the cunieform representations >of the same alchemical symbols > >But, then, you already know all of this > >Christopher Wynter We must scrutinize the small things on what great inferences depend ... Guest guest
Hi Christopher: A good method of chanting the seed sounds is the use it as the panchakra mantra and chant it "Na Ma Shi Va Ya" and then "Shi Va Ya Na Ma" it brings the elements down and than back up....one can really feel the energetic movement that is trantric yoga. No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
