Wonderful News! 36 is a great year and April is a fantastic month and 24th

is an auspicious day. Happy Birthday Mira! Here is a translation of a poem

by Kahil Gibran (from the Prophet), recently posted on the Advaitin list by

Raghava.

 

You will especially like the last three lines.

 

"But you are life and you are the veil.

Beauty is eternity gazing at itself in a mirror.

But you are eternity and you are the mirror."

It is not a mouth thirsting nor an empty hand

People of Orphalese, beauty is life when life unveils

her holy face.

But you are life and you are the veil.
