Guest guest
Oh boy are YOU in luck! So far, there is nothing in the list guidelines specifically against using other member's credit cards. Obviously I am in way over my head here, so a boat ride might be a lifesaver. Glo I'm sorry, Gloria,It was just a small boat. Guest guest
Hi Greg, It's a debit card, so after the balance was taken out Friday, it wouldn't work for us at the grocery store Sat. Can't be 100% sure that the number was gotten thru the internet, but the "company" that charged me billed under Web*Hosting Services. Do a search on that and you get umpteen possibilities, very good way to hide. Would you like a "cookie", Greg? There's about 600 of them I am throwing out of the cache. It may seem annoying to have to approve each cookie, every time you get a request..but that cookie thing is the likely route my card number was taken. Jan warned us about this once, but did I listen? Nooo... Maybe Jan can say again how to do your browser settings for that. Because it's either that cookie thing or it would have to be an employee at some very legitimate online business. This really makes a person think twice about buying online, even when supposedly from secure sites. It really IS annoying to also have to contact and re-do every bill you pay by automatic withdrawal as well, but fortunately there is no real loss to us and I can still laugh. Hey, I'm outta here. Gotta go sing some Mozart. You all have a nice evening too. Guest guest
Hi Glo, What works well for all browsers is a freeware program "Cookie Viewer 3.3", to be downloaded at: Cookie Viewer 3.3 Then click on the browser button "Descarga gratuita" This program will take care of showing and when told so, cookie elimination. Also important is a program to remove spy-ware: http://www.lavasoft.de/ Last but not least, a fire wall so that your computer seems to be offline for hackers, the one Bruce mentioned once is OK: http://www.zonelabs.com Love, Jan On 4/23/01 at 6:43 PM Gloria Lee wrote: Hi Greg, It's a debit card, so after the balance was taken out Friday, it wouldn't work for us at the grocery store Sat.
