Guest guest
Namaste All, It seems to me that there is a diversion of understanding on this subject. To many Saguna people, non dualism means appreciating that the entire energy illusion is one. To Nirguna believers this is exactly that, illusion and only the Nirguna beyond all this is real. So it is a matter of speaking relatively or absolutely. Also as there is no time even scientifically, all happens at once and there is only the illusion of operational freewill. Om Namah Sivaya...Tony.
Guest guest
Dear Tony -- There is no time in which to retain a belief, be it a belief in saguna or nirguna. Absolute relativity is beyond the absolute or the relative. What then is that which we call time, if there is no time? Ordered synchronicity, unfolding to perceivers who appear with the perception -- while <perceiver-perception> appears to no one. It is this "no one" who is all. Namaste, Dan Namaste All, It seems to me that there is a diversion of understanding on this subject. To many Saguna people, non dualism means appreciating that the entire energy illusion is one. Guest guest
Namaste Dan et al, All is Nirguna Brahman, everything else is but a dream. I was actually referring to some of the exchanges recently, especially from dwellers on the K List. It was all about comparing apples and oranges, which is usually where most spiritual differences lie, somewhere between advaita and dvaita, with an admixture of visishtadvaita. With regard to time, it is as real as the passing of several lifetimes in a dream. Like Indra living as a pig!
