Guest guest
Namaste All, A Child cries at birth and the relatives rejoice! What is there to rejoice about? The jiva has just returned to a karmic prison! Unless the body is used to gain moksha it is just karma, and nothing else. Not ever jiva has the opportunity of being born into a yogic/spiritual family. Why are the relatives happy? Because they project themselves on to the child. Most children are 'pet humans', they are there to give pleasure , and attachment, to the parents and relatives. OK there can be the learning process of sacrifice for the parents, the same could be done with a dog! There is the opportunity for love but most is attachment, the misconception about what life is. This may sound cynical but who really wants to be born again if they can help it? At death the person is happy and the relatives cry! hahahahahahaha Om Namah Sivaya....Tony. Me, for a start... > At death the person is happy and the relatives cry! hahahahahahaha Do you wish you were dead, Tony? You talk a lot about attachments... what about aversion? gill > Om Namah Sivaya....Tony. > > > > /join > > > > > > All paths go somewhere. No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness .. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jna nis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Sel f-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self. I will be happy to go through the experience called death. However as I go through it everyday in meditation and sleep, I would prefer to be alive until I am realised and the dream ends. Guest guest
---Dear Tony, As one who has had the death experience, may i say that it is not entirely pleasant, the manner in which the boddy meets its demise is something to be considered. While the trip itself was quite painful, the arrival was very nice, i will grant you that but God , in His wisdom, created us as He did all things, and placed us here for a limited time. He has His purpose, and we can do nothing more than abide His wishes. love Gracie In , "Tony O'Clery" <aoclery> wrote: > , spazbo2001 wrote: > > "Tony O'Clery" wrote: > > > > > At death the person is happy and the relatives cry! > hahahahahahaha > > > > > > Om Namah Sivaya....Tony. > > > > sounds like someone is afraid of life here > > Namaste, > > I am not afraid of the illusion that is called life. Namaste, Whose complaining? I am not unhappy, I have nothing against kids. It was a question that I threw out to illuminate what attachments people have. Humans always prefer to call their favourite attachments--love...ONS Tony
