Hi Jan, Many human values change because of the scriptures which are re-modulated. Are there modern teachings that you consider of value? What are they? Not having needed any teaching myself, that could be seen as that life itself is the teaching. Another measure is to look at the effects of a teaching on the students - how it effects their way of living, their way of expressing themselves and their outlook on life and fellow creatures. Regarding modern teachings, I don't know any at all "Man know thyself" in many variations - that has always been the teaching. The difference has been in the "interconnectedness of all life forms" issue as to prevent "I and my liberation" type of ego-trippers from deluding themselves and harming others.
