Some people are happy with their beliefs and philosphies, and the promise of other worlds and levels, etc. etc, but yet there are others whose happiness depends on truth that is not dependent on feelings, hopes, self improvement techniques, beliefs and philosophy, etc. It's kind of like this - some people are happy eating "air" while others *require* "meat". I was one such person. For someone to tell me that God was good and everything was and roses and 'so and so', I would have laughed at them and told them to get out of my face. That is the difference. Some people just require the truth, no matter what the cost to them. Judi > In , judirhodes@e... wrote: > > , "vicki" <viorica@z...> wrote: > > > indeed,Judi.right. > > > > > ****** Yes, go figure? I was such an individual. As a former atheist and unbeliever of "spirituality", that was the best possible 'position' to discover "truth" - it couldn't have been more convincing. So from this perspective, any help "spoils" what otherwise could start the most exciting phase of lifetime - unless a system breakdown is caused. Somewhere in NT or a psalm I came across the phrase "test my kidneys and my heart" and it's for a very good reason Joy and laughter, Jan
