Guest guest
Hi Dan , Nice to talk to you too. To complete that image - my son began to cry when reading those signs, he was so afraid that that road would explode every moment under our feet. I had to explain him , no,no, not the road , not this road that we are pacing on,it's only a warning not to pass over the barbed wire fence, that is all it is! And I began to sing and clown and made them laugh until we reached the car. After all , we spent such a wonderful day at that natural reserve! Why this image popped out ? Well - you and Tony handled a very delicate subject, a subject that in this dream world of ours might be a cause of hatred and new mined areas. Wish you well , Dan & Tony, I followed your dialog with great interest, thank you both, vicki Hi Vicki -- Thanks for what you share here. I imagine that living in Israel, the topics you raise concerning hatred and misunderstanding are very salient. I'm glad you were able to get your son to laugh and clown and get through that moment of his fear. I felt sadness, picturing you with your son walking by the barbed wire. Sadness, that, indeed, this is how it is, how we've made it. What just popped into my head is the refrain from a song done by Elvis Costello years ago -- "What's so funny 'bout peace, love, and understanding?" ... Well , - That's how my journey should be . The play , the dream. I accept it. vicki I, being this dream, accept this dream choicelessly. Being this dream, I am all this, and none of it ...
