This reminds me of the first talk I heard given by a Zen Roshi. We were a gloomy group, having a look at the master. He did say that if we really wanted to see him he would take off his clothing. No takers from the audience. Then with a sigh, he made us all stand up, put our hands at the back of our waist and lean back and LAUGH! Well, at first this was pretty pathetic as you can imagine - but eventually it was hysteria all round. So - this is my gift to the list for the day - anyone reading this, right now, no matter where you are (yes, I know, all those people are looking at you) just stand up tall, put your hands at your waist lean back and let 'er rip. Come on, you aren't THAT depressed. No, it isn't silly, you aren't doing this alone, the whole universe is laughing! LOL! HAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHHh hahhhahahahahhhahHA HA HA HAHAHhahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahah HaHa Ha Ha hhh Hahahahahahahahahahhhhhhhhhhhhahahahahahahhhhhhhhhhh HAH!. Humor is one of the most powerful tools that the Creator has given humankind. The ability to laugh at ourselves has given the Human Tribe a way to shake off the seriousness that sometimes masks our arrogance and our fear. Indian people have used clowns-sometimes called Heyokah by the Lakota people or Koshari by the Hopi people-to play harmless jokes on their Tribes so that the laughter can balance the sacredness of a Ceremony with joy and irreverence. This ancient custom is one way we can balance the sorrow and seriousness of human life. With the outpouring of belly laughs, nothing can stick that could harm or limit our ability to create. We can change our negative viewpoints in an instant with side-splitting laughter. If you are taking yourself too seriously, you may want to try some Heyokah Moon Medicine. Go into your backyard at night, drop your drawers, and moon the world! Allspirit Website: http://www.allspirit.co.uk
