There seems to be alot of quotes from enlightened people, but no

"experiences" being shared....{with the exception of a few}

Quotes, and fancy words are wonderful, at times, but sharing the path

of your own personal enlightenment brings the truth closer to home.

Just my own two cents today...

Carry on with Love,

Lynette

Dear Lynette,

I dont consider myself enlightened, but anything you wish to know i

am not opposed to sharing with you if you think it could be of use to

you.

Hi Lynette,

I agree... I love shared stories - they are a lot like metaphors that

we can use in different parts of our lives, and gives us a way to

look at people/situations differently.

I was talking to a friend a while back. We were discussing the 'we

are a spirit living in a physical body' type stuff. We go thru life

thinking we are only a body... then we start our path and discover

that we are spirit. Usually ignoring the fact we are in a body too

for a while. :-) But she said something to me that rang so true

for me... "we are spirit 'learning to live' in the body." Yes!

That's what it feels like!

Love,

xxxtg

Hi List: In this spirit, this is what happened to me. I have been

watching the breath. And lots of stuff comes up. Today, I was

watching, and wondering what would happen if I stopped breathing, and

how it was that I didn't stop and so on, and was experiencing a little

fear around that, and then suddenly, I realized that this was

identification. I was identified with my breathing. Somehow,

identification seemed like a bad thing if I was identified with bad

things. Breathing isn't a bad thing. For a moment, I felt how

awareness mixed up with breathing to make a self. Anyway, that's what

happened to me. Bye for now. Terry

My friend Lynea would say, "You are not a human having a spiritual

experience... you are spirit having a human experience." :))

Dear Lynn,

Small hint. Whatever people are posting IS their experience at the time.

Unless you want a composition on "How I Experienced Enlightment During My

Summer Holidays?" Everything changes, including the "tone". I have no

"personal enlightenment" so I just have to make do. J
