Guest guest
A while back, Harsha mentioned to me the book edited by David Godman, "The Teachings of Sri Ramana Maharshi." The book is great! Plus, what has been put forth via the Harshasatsangh... wow! That is the easy part, the hard part is integration such teachings in my daily life. Jean Klein's book "Who Am I" is also great! Thank you... Love, Robert
Guest guest
Thank YOU, Robert, You are the secret hope goes with every post posted here. You are the reason for the very existence of this list. "Be not a hearer of the word only , but a doer of the word." Like you said: The easy part is mentioning books and posting messages here, the hard part is someone like you who actually takes the information to heart and uses it, reads the books and integrates into their daily life these teachings. Now THAT is awesome. You are great! You gladden many hearts with your words today. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
