husbands and wives in Paradise

I have heard -that masculine physical gender might indicate certain divine

qualities and feminine gender might indicate other divine qualities and that

everything in the physical world is a living symbol, a teaching of what is

beyond.

 

I have heard that there is also gender in Paradise - a spiritual quality

without biological implications but with possibilities for ecstatic love and

union and the special relationship between souls.

 

Since all the souls in Paradise are facets of one diamond of Awareness, we

might say that all souls in Paradise are married to each other. And, Allah

willing, every human being that you have known intimately and loved will be

in Paradise in an essentialized, purified way (there ya go Tony) The Quran

says that the delight experienced by lovers on earth is a mirror reflection

of the delight experienced in Paradise.

 

So - lets cultivate Delight and all be Lovers -better things even than this

yet to come.
