TaoTeChing: the Book, the Song, the Miniseries egroup invite

 

Some 2,500 years ago Lao Tzu packed his yak and rode

off into China's wild frontier. Before he left, this legendary sage

wrote the Tao Te Ching (the Book of the Way and its Virtue). Second

to the Bible, this classic text is the most translated book in the

world. In its 81 verses it sets forth the basics of the philosophy

of Taoism.

 

The paperback "Spirit of Tao Te Ching" is the first

part of the multimedia trilogy, "Tao Te Ching: the Book, the Song,

the Miniseries." The song is available, the miniseries will appear

in a not too distant future....

 

This egroup is for infrequent notices about the

trilogy, taoism, Tao Te Ching online classes, the Watercourse Way

giftshop, taoism artwork, and other things--apparently all beginning

thanks jeff....i use Lao Tzu in my daily practice about as much as i use the

Bible....in fact, my favorite translation was one of my first gifts to

mira.....have memorized Brian Browne Walker's translations fo the the first

32 poems.....^^~~~~~
