This is why Ramana advises abstaining from alcohol and meat, for they contain subtle essences that are an impediment to cleaning the dust off the mirror so to speak. Without purifying the awareness sheath, one gets caught in concepts like a Personal God, emotions and experiences. Waves of emotion are taken as actual spirituality, and love, not for what they are preliminary experiences of energy. There is no point really in getting too heavy but the difference between a developing awareness sheath and a normal condition can only be experienced. There is a confidant 'knowing', without interpretation , rationalisations, alibis and other lower mind gymnastics. There is no need for the intellectual verbose, circumlocutive, non duality, which is still only in the mind.hahahahah-I'm picking it up! Even a genius without prajna or spiritual awareness cannot 'know', it for he/she is full of nescience or avidya instead of vidya, (true knowledge).
