Patanjali

Namaste All,

 

Patanjali is just a name, nobody knows who wrote this treatise for

sure. Some say it was Patanjali the grammarian but that would be out

by a few hundred years. Whichever yogi it was, it is putting down the

wisdom of the ages. There are parts of the work which don't seem to be

written by the same author. Perhaps Patanjali was a mystic who didn't

build up a volume of works.

 

Anyway I have a couple of different copies of this work and the best

one is that by Georg Feuerstein, Inner traditions int'l.
