Guest guest Posted May 20, 2001 Report Share Posted May 20, 2001 the circle is complete sitting at the center of a high lake washing into blue washing into silver washing into clarity i am a scarlet dragonfly pristinely hovering in the air i am golden trout lurking beneath the infinite surface of this endless mirror suddenly i crash upwards and break the glass the shattering universe begins to ripple once again i am the glass rippling towards the infiniiely distant shore suddenly broken i discover that i am neither a trout nor a dragonfly i am a dragon’s wings buzzing anxiously within a golden trout rippling with endless clarity out of the stillness sitting at the center of a mountain lake endlessly and without effort i am life surrendering to death to life more abundantly life as a scarlet dragonfly within a golden trout within still rippling waters of sterling clarity as my beloved, i surrender even my stillness to you surrendering even your rippling to me, as your beloved so surrendering, receiving, yielding, so accepting each the other the still circling water wasking into clarity washing into silver washing into blue of a high lake at the center sitting all in you and all in me, stillness circling, all in me and all in you the circle is complete mark christopher valentine (may 20, 2001) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
