Guest guest
This exchange between Wim and Tony reminds me of an old Al Stewart song. (short and sweet...) There is no path. > At the moment there is you and me. > I am Wim, no apple no orange. > You are Tony, no orange no apple... > Just you and me... > But why are you looking to the side? > To see if there is a way around me... ? > That way around is the path that you think you are on... > You will keep running into me... Small Fruit Song Said the apple to the Orange Oh I wanted you to to come Close to me and thrill me to the core Then you might know me like no Other Orange Has ever done before. Guest guest
Hello everyone, Just came back into town. Thanks for the humor and the poetry and the insights. I like the saying, "May all living beings be free of suffering." Meeting and parting is the nature of life. Knowing it to be so and reflecting on it makes us aware of the inherent precious quality of each moment infused with awareness. Love to all Peace to all living beings May everyone be blessed Harsha Mark Otter [mark.otter] Small Fruit Song Said the apple to the Orange Oh I wanted you to to come Close to me and thrill me to the core Then you might know me like no Other Orange Has ever done before. Love, Mark /join All paths go somewhere. No path goes nowhere. Paths, places, sights, perceptions, and indeed all experiences arise from and exist in and subside back into the Space of Awareness. Like waves rising are not different than the ocean, all things arising from Awareness are of the nature of Awareness. Awareness does not come and go but is always Present. It is Home. Home is where the Heart Is. Jnanis know the Heart to be the Finality of Eternal Being. A true devotee relishes in the Truth of Self-Knowledge, spontaneously arising from within into It Self.
