This post: "I've got a head full of ideas that are drivin' me insane!" -- Bob Dylan, "Maggie's Farm" Hint: you cannot willfully withdraw from either aversion or desire (they are essentially identical, btw) -- that is itself an incident of desire! :-) reminded me that the LAST time I got fired for not really wanting to be a scientist, was from a rehabilitation hospital upstate. The director at the time was named Maggie, and I was planning to make a t shirt with the words "I ain't gonna work on Maggie's farm, no more." to wear on my last day of work. Luckily, I didn't follow through on that clever but mad idea. I don't mind losing this job. I never wanted it in the first place. But, in the immortal words of the Beatles, "I want you. I want you so bad, babe. I want youououououo! I want you so baaa,aaaaa, aaaaad, it's driving me mad, it's driving me mad." (please imagine the chords here...) Love, Mark Out of jobber, caught the sack, Monday morning turning back, Yellow Doris knows no where to go... But owe, that magic feeling, nowhere to go, NOWHERE TO GO!!!! hey, this boat you guys gave me is up the creek... ps This is phase one in which Doris gets her oats.
