The two most important questions you will ever read IMO.

U.G: Can you give me what you have?

Ramana: I can give it, but can you take it.

When the transformation finally happened to U.G. after he gave up all

practice, the headaches were excrutiatingly painful. I guess that is

what Ramana meant. My Buddhist teacher said that U.G's mindfulness

got so strong that his discursive mind was blown away. Read the first

chapter, it's free, of The Mystique of Enlightenment. Then tell me

that you really want realization?

U.G: Can you be free sometimes and not other times?

Ramana: Your are either free or your not free at all.

As long as you see yourself as a person you are not free, no matter

what high meditation states you attain. You can get up to the door by

removing obstacles, but you can't open the door by effort. IMO
