Very fine statement. I perceive a message entering eyes, being read. That is only "outward appearance". What is the actuality is not the computer, not the eyes, not the meaning of the message being read. And yet, the message was sent and received. Excessive verbal communication has become so compulsive and widespread that it is taken for granted as the only way to understand anything.
