He may be obsessive and literal-minded, but he's *very* selective in that regard! :-) http://come.to/realizationhttp://www.atman.net/realizationhttp://www.users.uniserve.com/~samuel/brucemrg.htmhttp://www.users.uniserve.com/~samuel/brucsong.htm

However one would still inherit the vibrations from the original cell. We could have special clinics where people could be weened off their addiction by test tube meat, and a smelly skin patch, and videos from the slaughter houses. I have nothing against people who eat meat generally, and off list. It is their problem but I have daya or compassion for the treatment of animals. I make the connection between pain and suffering and meat, that's all..ONS..Tony.

Being drunk is a very sober business, or is it the other way around? If you're going to be sober, be totally drunk while doing it? Anyway, :--)) Prost! (or, as a friend of mine says, "Bebe hermano, que la vida es breve." [or something like that]). Thank you, from a sober drunk. Being drunk was indeed very sober business. It was time-consuming, and seemed to suck the joy out of my life. Being sober is much more fun, joyful, and peaceful. Of course, now that I don't have my "medicine" I have no effective way of dealing with the ache in my chest (that I have come to believe is my longing for reunion with God). Drinking and drugs initially made this ache go away, so I thought I had found 'the answer.' I now realize that making the ache go away isn't quite the same as decreasing the ache by beginning to fulfill the desire (of losing myself so as to better feel my connection with all that is). Hello Harsha. Thank you so much for being you! And hello other friends. My summer has been very busy so far, and I have been spending very little time on my computer (and much of what little free time I have had in my garden). Playing in the garden ("dirt therapy" it could be called) has been very enjoyable for me recently-- it really helps to bring me into the present moment. Take care, all. Namasté, and have a peaceful week- Mike (slipping back into lurkdom)
