We welcome the new members and thanks everyone for being here. Thanks Jan,

Dan, Dharma, Wim, Tony, and others for the great humor. Thanks Dan for your

personal testimonial about my immense powers. My e-mail box is flooded with

these and please all of you just try to control your adoration and not post

the testimonials about me to the whole list. I can't respond to any of these

as there is a humility clause in my contract.

Seriously, I appreciate the humor and I appreciate your appreciation of my

humor. There is a lot of appreciation to go around here especially if one

appreciates what is going on here.

Now what is this that I hear from Wim, that Tony is nicer to everyone on the

Sacred Kundalini list than here. I have not pushed Tony much to be nicer

here because I felt perhaps he was already trying his best and had reached

the upper limits of his efforts. But if it is true that Tony is being much

nicer to people on other lists than here in this Sangha, that will be fully

investigated and the matter will be brought before the HS executive

committee. Meanwhile, we would ask Tony to be at least as nice on this list

as he is on other forums.

Thank you James for that great picture of White Wolfe in the sky. That is

poetry in the making.

Thank you Vicki for your continuing posting of quotes from Sri Ramana. Much

appreciated.

By the way, I tried to follow the "poof" thread as best I could Mira and

finally "got it" when you mentioned "poof" in the car with you daughters and

the windows closed. This again brings to mind dietary issues in the social

context of long drives but that is for another time.

I loved Greg's list of foods that is helpful. That line about not eating

anything that has a face or a mother is very moving. Do potatoes have a

face? Jains don't eat root vegetables including potatoes and carrots, I

think. What about eggs Greg? Just curious.

Thanks Jerry, Alton, Bruce, Joyce, Lynn, Pham, Amanda, Gloria, JanB, JanS,

Gill, Mark, Dan, Mark, Mira, Wim, James, Linda, Gloria, Andrew, Mazie, for

sharing your insights and comments.

Thanks Christopher for your strange and odd posts which seem to not be too

interactive. On the Kundalini list someone suggested you were having a bad

hair day after your post. I have no idea about that but I noticed that you

send these same posts to many of these lists to generate interest in your

website and group. Please feel free to advertise there as

well in your closed list. If you can't mention our list on your group then

don't advertise here either, OK.

Same thing has been going on with James Bean. He has been sending here the

quotes of masters from his tradition and advertising his group and what he

does. But when I tried to send something to his list mentioning our Sangha,

he would not allow it to be posted. That seems unethical to me.

As a general rule for all would be advertisers of there group here, if there

is a restriction on mentioning our Sangha in your group, don't mention your

group here either. That seems only fair.

Now, this brings me to Dave Oshana. Hopefully Dave, your awakening does not

prevent you from acknowledging your mistakes and apologizing. You have an

opportunity to learn and grow with an attitude of openness. Don't close the

door on it by becoming cynical!

Sorry if I forgot to mention someone who has recently posted. Please speak

up and bring it to my attention!

Thanks

Love to all

Harsha

Beloved Harsha, thank you so much for allowing me to express my

unconditional devotion to your omni present powers... I promise I will not

do this on list, I will address you by phone from now on, for the

Maharshi(phone)line seems to be an excellent tool to transmit enlightenment,

and I would really like to receive a bit of enlightenment from you. I am

sure that even just a little glimpse would suffice to put me into a

permanent bliss.

Oh by the way, I have a list too, an you are welcome to advertise any

time... but since it is mostly an artistically/poetry oriented list maybe

you could do it in rhyme? :-)

Love and thanks,

Mira

ps: anyone (Greg?) got any good suggestions for a bad anemia?

I am already drinking gallons of bancha tea....

Namaste Harsha,

Being nicer is about reaction and action I suppose. I don't feel any

different on the other lists at all.

Responses and posts reflect what's going on at the time. I do have my

tongue in my cheek a lot of the time as well.

In fact I probably have been very nice here, if regurgitating what I

have learned is taken into account.

Perhaps the style is less confrontational, or there are less egos

parading at the time.

Some forums I may be even more direct, but nicer is so subjective and

only the intent and result count.

I must admit though, that I find the non-dual system of jargon,

without much sadhana to be absolutely fascinating. I have never seen

such regimentation and inflexibility of thinking, on to one thought

pattern going nowhere.

Kind of like the heaven being full of people all mixing, except for

sounds coming from behind a great circular wall. On asking what it was

the visitor was told oh that is the verbal non dualists, they think

they are the only ones here.hahahahONS...Tony

Hi Harsha,

> Now, this brings me to Dave Oshana.

oh thank you....any more gruel sir? (Re: The story 'Oliver'). One

would assume you at least feed your gurus eating them and their

enlightenment for breakfast. ;-)

Cynical? You lose me here. I don't know if you are referring me, or

just offering general advice. Here you will find humour, a open

heart, honesty and an awareness of infinite possibilities.

I can only assume that you do not remember receiving an apology on

the NDS a long time ago, and that is the reason why you keep bringing

up this subject -- which you avowed, in a recent email, to have

dropped.

I have been intensely involved in a teaching marathon here in the UK

as a window of enlightenment has opened up in a big way, last night

one lady got Enlightened :-) hooray! --and so have not had time to

read all the posts on the list.

If any post needs my attention then please send them to oshana-

owner and they will get forwarded to me.

love and best wishes,

dave
