And foul is the human that the lion will eat and the lion will become human." -The Gospel of Thomas (The Hidden Sayings of Jesus) now, of course, as a professional chef i must tell you that mark is a moderate veggie....the middle way....do not believe in eating meat for social reasons rather for spritual ones (is there any real difference?).....i particularly object to cattle and chicken as they are two animals that are being consumned to the point that bio-diveristy is being compromised....just like i object to all processed and institutionanlly produced foods and all crops that are raised using modern agri-business techniques....i prefer heritage grains (thai purple rice, russian black lentils, etc.) and organic produce when i can get it and afford it...if we lived in a more harmonious state with nature (which it is not possible to do anywhere in the modern world due to the over-population of the human species) we would have never arrived at the mental concept.....'i will not eat meat'.....the human animal is a natural omnivore....go take a look at your teeth in the mirror....as a hunter/gatherers we would take what we could find and be grateful for it....of, course now all this begs the question about the relationship between evolution and higher consciousness....but i will not go there.....i will end with this....please sir, do you have anything without meat on the menu?....cause being the wilde and crazy dog I AM, i do not eat meat....^^~~~~~ white wolfe > >Mira:> >psst Jan... Dharma Yes...although not 'more' fun...I've always enjoyed hide and seek. One can dance alone or with a partner. Some disputes can arise over who leads and who follows but thats just part of the dance. Dancing teachers like to teach dancing, think its a big deal, although this seems predicated on the notion that others can't dance or have to be taught how and that dancing may be difficult, even might have to be taught in some obscure language. If someone will only dance with me if I pretend I don't know how to dance, that's fine, as then I usually learn a few new steps. Dancing class is intriguing.
