Guest guest
Hi Mira, >ps: anyone (Greg?) got any good suggestions for a bad anemia? > I am already drinking gallons of bancha tea.... Green peppers have lots of iron. If you like them well enough, you can just eat them like apples. Seeds and all... they won't hurt you. I knew a woman once who had severe anemia, and the doctors made her drink ox-blood. (I don't think I could get it down) It isn't pernicious anemia, is it? That can be caused by a B12 deficiency... shots of B12 and folic acid (they should always be given together) will help very quickly. You need complete proteins for B12. You can get plenty from vegetables in the right combinations... the info is in _Diet for a Small Planet_. But some people are unable to use B12 from vegetables and need meat or fish.
