Hi Jeff. Thursday night midnight is the deadline for the Haiku poems. The

actual decision will come on Sunday night. Due to the number of submissions

(and some people have submitted more than a few), we are using powerful

statistical procedures to standardize input so everyone has an equal chance.

 

Here is one that Dan just posted on HS.

 

The streaming flowers blow

by my sunlit face

Arriving too late for spring.

 

And one from Goldy on HS.

 

The still of night moves

through the pores of dreaming flesh.

Life is awakened.

 

 

The talent is totally awesome! There is a lot of infighting among the HS

committee members because everyone has their favorites.

 

We will just have to wait for the famous words, "Please open the envelope,

and oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, tied for first place are or the clear

winner is........................."
