Guest guest
"Om is the unstruck sound, the unpronounced word" Nisaragadatta has previously said that the internal sound is the sound of our beingness, and that it is false. He also said that you can get drunk on it. What has Ramana said about the aforesaid sound? Thanks in advance. Love, Alton

Guest guest
I hear the "sound" all the time also, and I have Uranus in Taurus in the six house. So you dont believe in astrology? I was a piano tuner in my earlier years. Taurus as many here know, governs hearing, Uranus indicates something unusual and the six house is the work house so I am told. Now for my more direct question about "the sound", Nisaragadatta seems to have changed his directions for meditation from "the thought I AM and feeling, to just the "I am" sense of conscious presence without words. Now, since he has said that the inner sound is false, do you just ignore it or is that part of the sense of presence? Why meditate on something false? Maybe he can only answer it but I am giving it a try here. Thanks in advance.
