Like a gentle little housecat, perhaps? ;-). A bird must beware of

those instinctive meat-eating housecats, even though they really are

lovable creatures themselves.

Namaste,

Tim (who wouldn't ever kill an insect, but puts them outside)

Namaste Tim,

It is the cat's Dharma to be a killer it is not the aspiring human

being's. If one is a human animal then that is something else, but

people on spiritual lists are supposed to be aspiring human

beings....ONS..Tony.

Namaste Tim again,

Yes I was walking my dog and even he was going to go after the bird,

but again that is his Dharma also, that is his nature. Humans are

different, there are human animal, aspiring human, human and divine

human. I don't say much about the general population on meat eating

although we have huge factories of death in the West, and in China and

the countries around there they eat anything that moves, dogs, cats,

birds, cows, sheep, cockroaches, live monkey brains, frogs etc etc

anything at all that moves it seems. I don't know why but I always

keep my arms still in a chinese restaurant

hahahahahahahah...ONS...Tony
