Interesting to note that this is precisely the "practice" recommended by Nisargadatta Maharaj. The way he expresses it: "Remain with the sense of Beingness or 'I Am,' prior to personality." Very much the same utterance, in different words -- seen with even more clarity if the teachings of both these sages are understood. Nisargadatta always stressed that the "I Am" or "Beingness" is a 'felt' thing, not intellectual... the "Feeling of I." In fact, such "unceasing meditation" is 'happening' all the time, so one need not make an effort... merely 'join the flow' of this ongoing meditation through surrender. Awareness is unceasingly aware of Awareness -- the only thing that remains to be determined (through clarity or clear seeing) is "what is it that does not flow with life, but clings desperately to (imaginary) rocks in search of security?"
