Guest guest
One really mature way to discuss a subject not to mention small spiritual qualities like: patience, tolerance, respect, detachment, love ... etc. Is to make the discussion to the SUBJECT - Ad Rem not to the PERSON - Ad Hominem This is very standard, normal behavior, this doesn't mean everyone will be perfect in the morning and some people won't be able to withstand the temptation to make their "oblique" references to someone else. And, some people are so defensive they will think someone is referencing them each and every day when it has nothing at all to do with them. But, I do think we can manage this very small, graduation from kindergarten behavior - normal socialization skills, we'll forget that we're all competing for "the most enlightened person on the list - see my 432 posts to that effect," and just pretend we're trying to learn small baby steps before flying over the great spiritual cliffs of grandiosity. <g> Anna
