As can a know-it-all pedant who nonetheless manages to depict himself

as somehow not operating intellectually.

There has been so much sniping going on, particularly toward Tony,

that actually, the sniping is making me a little sick to my tummy. I

don't want to source this, because it is only representative of much

of what has been going on, and I really don't want to say much about

it...just that I am very sad. Is this what satsangha is? Okay...now I

am going to sing a little bit...this is a song I started last fall

(out here by the Snake River in Payette, Idaho, looking to the golden

and blue (cheetgrass and sage) mountains in the distance...two verses

I added recently after my trip through the southwest... :::tuning

guitar::: :::strumming a few notes:::

Snake Lazy River Serenade

1.

Thesun’s beating down on

thisold guitar,

andthe mountains aremuch too far away.

AndI wonder

whatI’m doing here

today.

2.

Myjourney’s taken me

manya mile,

andstill I wear a smile

uponmy face.

ButI wonder

whatI’m doing

inthis place.

Chorus

Weare children;

weare dancing on the Earth.

There’sa reason;

Ifeel it in my bone.

Whenwill we realize

we’regoing Home.

Thisis our Home.

3.

EverywhereI’ve gone,

thingsare pretty much the same,

andI’m so weary of the games

thatI could cry.

AndI wonder

ifthere’s any way

tomake it right.

4.

It’stoo easy to point

afinger at you,

andI’m passionate enough at times thatI could fight.

AndI wonder

whenwill I just let go

andride the Light.

Chorus

Weare children;

weare dancing on the Earth.

There’sa reason;

Ifeel it in my bone.

Whenwill we realize

we’regoing Home.

Thisis our Home.

5.

There’sscarcely a leaf moving

inthe air,

andthe corn’s yellow hair

touchesthe sky.

AndI wonder,

ohI wonder;

Iwonder why.

6.

Thesky is full of light;

themountains are ablaze,

andI can’t see through this haze

inmy eyes.

AndI wonder

whenwill we be at peace

withthe Erth and Sy.

Chorus

Weare children;

weare dancing on the Earth.

There’sa reason;

Ifeel it in my bone.

Whenwill we realize

we’regoing Home.

Thisis our Home.

Linda did not say she was sad nor did she feel the need to attack anyone,

I think we can return to addressing subject matter - ad rem

and leave off the ad hominem - to the person - attacks.

Or, was there something in the "graduation from kindergarten"

socialization skills email that you missed?

Thanks,

Dear Linda,

Sorry you're sad... but if you would just ignore Tony like the rest

of the list has been doing, he will probably not continue to "push"

his views on the list. Otherwise, responding to his postings will

Personal attacks? I was just stating my opinion that I thought it

would be better to ignore Tony. Sorry if it offended, that wasn't

the intent.

Isn't the above an implied "personal attack?" It doesn't seem quite

fair that you ask me to leave off something and then engage in it

yourself, does it?
