A quote from Ramana says something like "there are no others".

So if everything you do is for "others", "you" have to be unhappy too,

because there are no others

 

Unhappiness arises from what could be called "improper functioning" and

for a zebra that could mean having broken a leg or being imprisoned in a zoo

whereas for a lizard the same zoo could mean "paradise".

 

Still waiting for the quotes, suggesting that the universe is a cube filled with

popsicles,
