Guest guest
Hi Alton, , "ALTON A ALTON" <lostnfoundation> > I will be the first to admit that you are more advanced spiritually > the me. No such thing as "advancement" in "spirituality" (or in life either for that matter, if you even want to make the distinction). The body dies eventually. So what happens to any purported "advancement" ('spiritual' or 'worldly)? > p.s I made no claims of consistancy, like my teacher Nisargadatta. Ditto, no claim of 'consistency' made here either. > I also proclaim quite a large ego. But everyone I know has one, but > some posture that they have small ones. The "I" is the ego, so not surprising it would claim itself 'large'. Actually it is nonexistent no matter what it 'proclaims itself' -- there is no "entity" called "me" there, it's simply a way of thinking or a type of thought -- an erroneous way that thought views things.
