Guest guest
Alton A Alton interviews himself. A: What is your view on Nisaragatta claiming that he was in the Absolute state. A: Only when he drank Vodka. The absolute state is a relative state except when your dead and do not perceive objects ever. Nisargadatta came in with a steel trap mind and shortly after he met his Guru he was able to go out of the body. With continued practice he was able to declutch his memory bank at will and hold his attention on his attention, most of the time. In "I AM THAT" he said that occasionally a thought would arise and that he would instantly see it and it would disappear. In Jean Dunn's last transcription, Consciousness and the Absolute" Nisargadatta's body is deteriorating because of the terminal cancer condition, so it appears that his mind was weakening and more thoughts would appear. The absolute state therefore is just another relative state that may follow the general rule principle. A. What about his claim, "nothing ever goes wrong in my world"?. A. Another general rule. A. What do you want from this trip. A. To copy Nisargadatta. See above. A. Do you believe in what you just posted. A. Most of the time I really dont know what I am talking about.
