Guest guest
>> No one can realise the Name by practice of knowledge, meditation or austerity. Surrender yourself first at the feet of the Guru and learn to know that 'I' myself is that Name... << To all ~ I wasn't sure how to answer all the questions I received after sharing my experience with Shree Maa and Swami Satyananda Saraswati. But Ramana has answered nicely for me. However, briefly, I will also say, yes, Swami stated that we are the Guru, the God, etc., but simply to say so (I am saying this, not Swami) doesn't accomplish much. Shree Maa has said to look in the mirror each morning and bow to yourself. I have liked what Swami has said about gurus. (And he refrained from saying what one should do, e.g., leave one for another, have more than one, see many...hmmm, I think this bears further elucidation, but the words elude me. tee hee) Also, hmmm...I have a certain reticence to wax too much on any particular topic, as I am a bit shy of being jumped for the use of words. Yet, the very purpose of satsangha (as opposed to the cocktail lounge, and until I achieve enlightenment or at least Realize, I will be prone to see a difference between the two, no matter what I tell myself) is to spend time in the presence of others who will support your voyage to the Self, is it not? Anyway, since I have the feeling of tripping over my feet and twisting my tongue (and I am not attempting to do anything with nails or paletes), I will stop for the moment.
