Everyone is an "only child" in the eyes

of the Blessed Holy One.

Ruler of the Universe!

Give me the strength to commit my fair

share of sins.

Then give me the strength to make

amends for all of those wrongdoings

and to regret them wholeheartedly.

Everything can be taken away from me

except for my God,

in my heart.

Sovereign of the Universe:

I do not fear Your Hell.

I do not long for your Heaven.

And I will gladly pass up Your

Celestial Angels.

Do you know all I truly desire?

You , only You.

We humans chase over the world to

find things:

We climb high mountains, we descend

to the netermost depths fo the sea,

we trek to the wilderness and to

the desert.

There is one place where we neglect to

search-our heart.

But it is there we will find God.

Even in the deep recesses of the

netherworld one can be close

to the Ruler of the Universe!

Because God is there as well.

It is better that we look inside of

ourselves and see what is going on

in here, than to look to the Heavens,

to see what is going on up there.

Can a person really reach the

Heavens in one leap

Editors note, YES

When we open our eyes each morning

and recite the prayer?

"I thank you, O God..."

It is good to reflect for a while:

Who am "I" and Who are "You".

I am no expert in treasures.

There is only one treasure that I know

of, and it has been well-tested:

As God said: "You shall be my treaured

Possession."

Whoever does not see God in every

place does not see God in any place.

God hides so we can seek

The Blessed Holy One oppresses

humans until ther souls are utterly

dejected and afterwards says

"Return unto Me."

How can this be psssible?

Why is the name fo the Holy Blessed

One called "I Am Who I AM"?

When one is remorseful and says: "I will be good from now on," the

Blessed

Holy One responds immediately,

saying:

"I Am' with you and will immerse you in My Presence."

"You shall not make molten gods for

yourselves."

This means: Do not have an overly rigid

image of God.

That is, do not make God into an idol.

On must not give in to the Ruler of the Universe!

"You shall have no foreign god."

This means: Do not let God be strange

or foreign to you, neither to your

heart nor to you soul.

Baal Shem Tov

"Know what is above you"

Know that all that is above-is

is from you.

Editor's note: Would Ramana agree?
