Guest guest
Hi Alton, No offense (apologies if any are taken), but why would anyone mind if you (or anyone) "sees" the list in a certain way or not? Nobody forces anyone to sign up or post here... as long as list guidelines are followed, why would anyone be concerned with how a r "sees" the list environment? Just puzzled by the question... Guest guest
Difference is though, that your participation here is completely voluntary. You are totally free. Always were and always have been. You are free to from this alleged benevolent dictatorship at any time. You are also free and most welcome to stay. Your presence here is much enjoyed. Guest guest
The one who is present in this environment, is the one who is present in every other environment. Stay or leave, the one present is, as always. Perhaps this sounds like nondual talk, and yet, the truth of it is not in the talk, but is indeed self-evident. The concerns between this and that entity, about what form of government to have or not have, requires that there be entities being governed. These concerns aren't meaningless within the conceptual realm in which they are relevant. Yet, beyond that realm, one is. Guest guest
ALTON A ALTON [lostnfoundation] Sunday, July 15, 2001 2:38 PM Dear Harsha Alton: Nice policy statement, but would you mind If I am some others see this group as a "benevolent dictatorship"?. Not being a historian, I dont know if fascist govenments in past years have made the same above statement. Love, Alton Dear Alton, Thanks for your many thoughtful reflections on this matter. You can certainly view the group in a way that makes the most sense to you. Everyone else already does. "" means "Joyous Fellowship" and that is the type of environment we try to foster here with everyone's help. Love Harsha
Guest guest
Dear Judi: You seem quite angry at Harsha? It however reminds me of my aunt who is now 105. My mother always said about her that "If someone spit on her she would say that it rained". How about it Harsha, would you say that if Judi actually spit on you? Guest guest
, judirhodes@e... wrote: > ***** Harsha is no more enlightened than the man on the moon. Nobody is "enlightened." "Enlightenment" is in the absense of a "particular somebody" -- therefore, to say something like "I am enlightened" shows ignorance only. When the idea of "me" is not there, then enlightenment is 'everywhere', there is nowhere it cannot be found. To say "I am not enlightened" is false also. Anything following the words "I am" is completely false. Even the words "I am" are false, but remaining with those words (as per Ramana and Nisargadatta) can act as a 'pointer' to the True. > He's just a cowardly little thug on a "spiritual" power trip, > trying to get followers, using the names of the men who stood > for real love and real enlightenment. Trying to get followers? Harsha, are you writing books now and traveling the satsang circuit looking for "groupies?" <laugh>. We don't spit at weddings and funerals, and we don't voice that kind of personal attack on this list. You wanna "spit," they've got brass cuspidors at NDS and hundreds of acres of range for that over on the Ranch. http://come.to/realization http://www.atman.net/realization http://www.users.uniserve.com/~samuel/brucemrg.htm http://www.users.uniserve.com/~samuel/brucsong.htm ______________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
