What a joke. What a pitiful joke. In the love and goodness in the name of Ramana and what he stood for, I spit on you. Judi
Guest guest
At first I thought that you handled yourself well while under attack today. Then I asked my self why did he have to then ruin it by protecting his security with the new terms of membership at Harsha Satsang. Some people use WWJD, what would Jesus do? Here it should be WWRD, what would Ramana do? Would he make all kinds of new rules to protect himself? Not from what I have read about Ramana. He would have talked to her with loving kindness. Love, Alton p.s Not a very good day for Harsha
Guest guest
Perhaps the only question worth finding the answer to though is WWID? what would I do? One I, with six billion different solutions. "Enlightenment" is in the absense of a "particular somebody" -- therefore, to say something like "I am enlightened" shows ignorance only. When the idea of "me" is not there, then enlightenment is 'everywhere', there is nowhere it cannot be found. To say "I am not enlightened" is false also. Anything following the words "I am" is completely false. Even the words "I am" are false, but remaining with those words (as per Ramana and Nisargadatta) can act as a 'pointer' to the True. > He's just a cowardly little thug on a "spiritual" power trip, > trying to get followers, using the names of the men who stood > for real love and real enlightenment. Trying to get followers? Harsha, are you writing books now and traveling the satsang circuit looking for "groupies?" <laugh>. Joy and Happiness, Omkara Dear Tim/Omkara: I am writing a book called "Profanity in Expressions of Jealousy Exchanged Between List Owners" I am also currently researching an article regarding the statement of a little-known Buddhist monk, who claimed that Gautama's words upon "knowing reality" were not "I am awake", but "I'm much more awake than you'll ever be" ... Later, next year, I'll be writing "You're Projecting, and I'll Always Hate You For That" ... As Sonny and Cher sang, "And the beat goes on ..." Guest guest
That is quite inappropriate here, as you very well know, Judi. We don't spit at weddings and funerals, and we don't voice that kind of personal attack on this list. You wanna "spit," they've got brass cuspidors at NDS and hundreds of acres of range for that over on the Ranch. "You don't spit into the wind. You don't pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger and You don't mess around with Slim ..." Do dee doo dee dee doobe do doobee doooo...
