I'm half listening to the BBC world report as I enjoy HarshaSatsang, and

I just heard a report that Phillip Morris wrote an official report that

smoking saves the Czek (sp?) government HUGE amounts of money for

elderly-health care. Yikes.

Hey Alton, this may be worth contacting the Phillip Morris corporate

headquarters about. (I'll crouch down behind them, and you push them.

They will fall all over me and they won't know WHAT hit them, altough

that's why I want to play the role of physical barrier, because they

MIGHT remember what (or who) hit them, but it seems unlikely that they

will remember the face of someone to whom they had turned their backs,

like smokers and children, and...)

 

I'd like to save the world, but I'm assured it's a DUMB idea. (mostly by

those who've tried, single handedly. UH DUH!!!!!! It might just take a

collective effort. The trick is to convince enough people to have real

power.)

 

and yet, I am an idealist and I'd love to put your zeal to work on the

Brazil rainforests, or the rising tides, or the Palastein/Israeli

conflict, or President Bush's plans for the Alaska oil field, or for the

Gulf of Mexico oil field, or the plans to prevent me from teaching

Bioengineering but not doing research. (and even more so, the plans not

to pay me huge sums of money for the remainder of my life for doing

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, which is what these damned spiritual lists keep

telling me to do.) (okay, they really mean BEING absolutely nothing, but

to me it is the same thing. sometimes.) Hey, save me my job and I will

call Harsha ANOTHER name, which no one and yet everyone deserves.
