Guest guest
Hi Alton, Some practical thoughts. If someone is sponsoring a list and others have agreed to volunteer to be moderators then it makes sense that anyone signing on to the list are also agreeing to certain terms of reference. Reality is made up of agreements. If the realities of this list are not those you can comfortably agree with, then remove yourself from the list. And if you feel you have a better notion of terms of reference for a list, then have one of your own that reflects what you think the guidelines and list content should be. The fact that I have signed on to "Harsha's" list does not mean that this person has to publically discuss anything he does not chose to discuss. And most especially he need not discuss his spiritual experience or path in any detail beyond what he has chosen to say already. Alton, I am not clear what tradition you follow, but, in most traditions that I know about, discussing spiritual experience and insight other than indirectly is just not done. And most especially it would not be done as a response to an aggressive challenge from another. But, an unwillingness to enter into a childish discussion is wisdom, not evidence of hypocrisy. People have told you that they find your persistent challenge to Harsha distressing. I have never met Harsha, but from what I can discern here, it does not seem that he himself is at all concerned. Nor does he feel a DESIRE to discuss his insight with others beyond what is necessary to give direction and support, to serve others. And to me this is evidence of truth. Harsha has stated the guidelines for his list, which seem to have to do with common courtesy, not a big deal spirituality, actually conform to the requirements listed in as a prerequiste to sponsoring a list. So "God" is telling you something, but you aren't hearing it. Others have said they are distressed by your lack of respect and you are saying tough titty, to God. So, you say that "who isn't God?" But you then seem to decide you know better as to how this God should manifest. If you want to spend time with those who will brag and blab on endlessly about "their" realization, there are lots on www. who will astound and amaze you. There are lots of Swami Whatsananda's ready and willing to push you about in your wheel chair and play Dad. So- since you are God like everyone else, why not discuss your own direct experience of reality and how you live this daily? Since this is the discussion YOU want, it seems fair that you answer honestly your own questions for all to read. Other than that, there are many accounts already written about realization that you can read. It seems like Harsha does NOT feel like answering you. But, I'll be very interested in hearing all about your experience and insight since you value this openness, and since your only motive for pursuing this discussion is to serve others. Personally, I am grateful to Harsha and the list moderators for attempting to make this sangha a safe place. I appreciate their concern for others and their willingness and courage to take abuse because of their concern. There isn't much of this in the world. Joyce ALTON, I really love you very much but GOD wants me to direct tough love toward you. If someone then asks me who is GOD? My answer will be, who isn't. Here are the Questions again. If you retract you Realization procramation I will not ask you these silly questions. However a new set will appear. ALTON wrote: EVERYONE is GOD What does that mean? How do you know this? What meditation practice or other circumstance brought you to this realization? You have no more "I" thoughts? You dont want anything? Nothing ever goes wrong in your world? You never get angry from outside events or inside events? When you realized "GOD", what happened? Did you get any headaches like UG? Was there a change in your body on a cellular level? Why do you have a need to announce it to the world? I ask these questions out of seeking and love, not to be hostile. I'll add a new one. If you are realized do you still meditate, and why do you if your answer is yes?
