Guest guest
ALTON & Friends, What would Ramana do? Ramana ran a tight ashram. Paul Brunton, the man who first "discovered and promoted" Ramana in his book "Journey to Secret India", was kicked out of the ashram for a rhetoric and style that would be considered positively elegant compared to some of the invective that's come to distinguish this site. Rules? The Buddha imposed hundreds, but that's not really the point is it? The point is, does a lot of spiritual monologuery suffice to cover up a passive/aggressive emotional style? What good is spirit if it doesn't manifest first in personal attitude? And in particular, when that attitude is so often didactic? A good question, isn't it? Yours in the Bonds, Eric Yes -- it's a very good question, Eric. Perhaps even beyond "who am I?" ... Now that I realize there is no knower, no doer, nothing to relate to -- and I'm knowing myself as in a dialogue, relating ... "how am I being?" ... "what am I doing?" !!??!!
