Mazie wrote [[i would like to share some ideas from the Bhagavad-Gita

Creation and Dissolution."]]

** This is from the 'bhakti' section of the Gita; the texts that

represent the "That", or tat pada, found within, "Thou Art That."

[[The battle at Kurukshetra is the symbolic battle of our ego and our

soul.]]

** It may also represent our divine destiny. Our dharma, or duty,

to the path we are born to.

[[i have found the interpretation by Yogananda, the very best and

most helpful of all the versions in print.]]

** I too have read several versions of the Gita. My favorite is the

one prepared by my Gurudev, Sri Swami Sivananda. Which brings up two

good Qs for the list:

- What is your favorite version of the Gita, & why?

- What is your favorite verse within the Gita, & why?

To answer the second Q, I favor chapter 12, verses 13 - 19. It is

something I read everyday - without fail. It is, in my Heart, the

goal of my life.
