GURU

Questioner: Bhagavan says he has no disciples.

Bhagavan Ramana: (Looking at me (Chadwick)

suspiciously) - Yes.

Questioner: But Bhagavan also says that for the

majority of aspirants the

Guru is necessary.

Bhagavan Ramana: Yes.

Questioner: Then what am I to do? I have come all

this distance and sat at

Bhagavan's feet all these years. Has it all been a

waste of time?

Bhagavan Ramana: For a seeker, God in his grace

takes a form in order to

lead him to his formless state. Has he any doubt

about it? Ask him, does he

want me to give him a written document? Go and call

Narayana Iyer,

Sub-Registrar and tell him to make one out for him.

Namaste,

Whoever this leonardjacobson is or whoever wrote this verbiage, does

not know his proverbial from a hole in the ground. This is the

problem with these 'writers', and would be gurus. A little knowledge

is a dangerous thing, and I am Vidya or true knowledge. This writer

doesn't even have the basic understandting or the relationship of

ego to mind and what the mind is. Or is this another joke or spoof

I'm falling into........ONS..Tony

Dear Jim,

Please be cautioned about advertising sites on the sangha. If

Lenoard wants to come and join the group and benefit from Michael

and Warwick and Sam and TG and Gloria and Joyce's wisdom here, that

is fine (If you are Lenorad that is fine, no problem). However, if

your sole purpose in joining the sangha is to advertise, this is not

considered proper and is not consistent with the list culture.

When people engage in conversation here and want to post the url to

their website that is OK. Long time members are free to do that.

Thanks,

Love to all

Harsha

Good call, Harsha. I still remember your wonderful words from a few

years ago. Quoting from memory,

"If you want to be enlightened here, that's fine.

We eat enlightenment for breakfast and realization

for lunch. But to be on this list, you must be kind."

Thanks Greg. Enlightened people sit on us. They are heavy.

Kind people lift us up and embrace us.

Enlightened people are sure that they are enlightened.

Kind people are not always conscious of their power.

Love to all

Dear Harsha

thank you so much for your lines.....

whoever dares to say "I am enlightened" - and not joking - can never be -------

to be honest kindly what a gift to be like this I pray for it being like it

do you know even if not being like a missionary its not sooo easy to

be "cool" when you see how ungrateful "people" are so often

because to be grateful for being because loving our GD with all we are

sorry

that is somehow "inborne" in me

(like friends who seem to know this LOL tell me earnestly)

and so it is for me sooo really unbelievable that so many "humans" are

behaving so terrible even after so many thousand years of history....

sorry for disturbing you and the group

but I am so deep in love with the Allmighty

sri my sentimentality

thank you for your lines a n d tku for your comments about

people over 65

I was 64 on the 1st and feel still like 16.....

never changed this.......

Love
