Dear Linda, and also everyone else who has contributed to this

list in the last 7 days.... It is wonderful to meet you.

My name is Kheyala. I am very new to this computer life and to

being on an interactive mailing list. So I don't know how to make my

posts fancy, and have no idea how I got such a neat font to happen

right now or how to eliminate that black line to the left...do you

see it too?

But what I am not so new at is resting in the deep joy and

exquisite relief of simply being Who I Am. The thing that is most

astounding now is to discover that there are countless (?) others

"out there," not just a chosen few from India or something, that also

know this infinite ................ that includes every expression.

It has been so amazing to discover this (several times daily)

reading your letters, and I just wanted to say thank you. I thank my

Self, in all Its forms. It has been such a blessing being on this

list. Or should I say LIST? Because THIS is the Blessing of

blessings.

I have (whoa, I just lost my cool font)....I have so much love in

my heart for That, which includes, of course, anyone who happens to

be reading this in This precious Moment. Thank you.

Love,

Kheyala

>> What has been working for me has been thanking God for everything.

Especially the things I perceive are bad. As the wall begins to want

to surface, I begin saying thank-you right away. This works. <<

Dear Paul ~ well, at first I thought I had mistakenly attributed the

posts I was responding to in my last post. Then I realized I had not.

Thanksgiving does work. My heart aches each time I realize how many of

us there are. Shanti ~ Linda ...P.S.

I am sharing a song I wrote about twenty years ago, in the very

darkest time of seeing the shadow. I will say, I have always believed

my songs are gifts; they seem to pour through me, telling me things I

need to hear, and so often, I don't really "hear" or "get" their full

meaning(s) until years later.

BeGentle With Yourself

1.

We’ve come a long, long way

in a very short time,

oh, see how beautiful we are.

Wrap the past in moonbeams,

release your fear of the night,

each one of us is a shining star.

Chorus

Be gentle with yourself,

there’s a place

where it’s alright

to be who you are.

Be gentle with yourself,

embrace

what’s inside, you’ve been looking for a treasure,

something you can’t weigh or measure,

looking and looking,

but you don’t have to look so hard.

2.

We’ve seen so much

of the good and the bad,

we just have to cry sometimes.

But even so, we realize

just how much we have,

and the riches we carry through our lives.

Chorus

Be gentle with yourself,

there’s a place

where it’s alright

to be who you are.

Be gentle with yourself,

embrace

what’s inside, you’ve been looking for a treasure,

something you can’t weigh or measure,

looking and looking,

but you don’t have to look so hard.

3.

We get a little tired

on our way.

Sometimes we think we just can’t go on.

But just about the time

we think we’ve lost our way,

we hear another traveler singing this song.

Chorus

Be gentle with yourself,

there’s a place

where it’s alright

to be who you are.

Be gentle with yourself,

embrace

what’s inside, you’ve been looking for a treasure,

something you can’t weigh or measure,

looking and looking,

but you don’t have to look so hard.

Linda/Paul

Thanx - really appreciate your song of thanksgiving -

about to explore a concept of "dasein" - german for to *be*. to just *be*.

Like a lily of the field, to just exist. Because we were born unwittingly

and we do not have to compete or be involved in ego in order to feel validated.

Heck with that crap! LOL! :-))

You know - western mind has always imposed the competition

ethic on people, and now that it is population explosion time - uh oh!

look out!

Thankyou God for being the safety net always when i refuse

to participate in competition

and allow myself to just *be*, in all the glory and goodness

that you have created me as.

Amen.

all my best,

valerie
