The Sufi approach is to increase in Love and gentleness and kindness. We then have an increased capacity which in itself just swallows the negativity as it arises. If seen clearly enough, the coin itself is of no more use ("transcended"). "Nonduality" is not only transcendence of subject-object, but the pairs of opposites as well.
