Recently somebody mentioned the Goddess, having recently returned from

Mexico again. It occurrs to me that the majority worshippers of the

Goddess in the world are the Roman Catholics. My own experience was

that this was so, that it was necessary to talk to Mary to intercede

with God. Very saguna and nirguna....I have a penchant for Guadalupe

for her birthday is also my own....ONS.....Tony.

What interests me is why some find it necessary to give the universal

spirit a "sex" and at the same time, state we are all one.... and

what are we? But male and female? So, is god male or female? and why

chose to state one over the other? It becomes a concept or

perception, it becomes a religion.

Hola Tony!

I am not sure if Catholics refer to their feminine saints as the Goddess,

however worship of the feminine form is common in all religions. 'The

Goddess' in this specific context is commonly referred to as the feminine

aspect of deity within all pagan and wiccan religions/traditions.

Of course this is all a matter of belief. People may have a concept of God

and therefore need another concept to intercede with this concept. However,

this is fine. It is all the same to the only one that is, and worship is a

wonderful way to celebrate being this.

Isn't this so wonderful?

Isn't this media another great way to celebrate Being?

I wish I knew some Sanskrit phrase that means, "Hurray! This is so great!

Namaste Kheyala,

Hurrah.............Jai! .....Cheers or Victory in Sanskrit!

Also feminine is the Goddess for she produces 'creation', with her

power of maya. 'God', being male, or not giving birth to anything!

ONS........Tony.
