Hi Lynnette,

You may be as playful as you like - no borderlines :) Never heard of Dr. Seuss

as most of the books i had to read were on electronics engineering...

In Holland, where the pic comes from, there are quite a few windmills

and there is even an expression for "crazy", freely translated as

"a whack from the windmill"...

Hello Jan

Dr. Seuss books are children's rhyming books..... The Cat in the Hat?

Ever hear of that, that is his most popular book?

I read them quite frequently to my children... I just read Fox in

Socks the other day, and we were all three rolling on the bed,

laughing... It was so ridiculously funny....

Hi Lynnette,

Never heard of the book - in my early youth, time was spent hiking or

constructing toys with Meccano :) And that was the last i had to do with

kids...

WHY?

Some would call that destiny - for instance i don't the know my sister's

two sons - haven't seen her in some 14 years :) I don't even have

the proper cloths to visit a Northern country anymore... Apart from

that, there's no desire to go on any visit - life here is pleasant

and leisure isn't boring, perhaps a bit addictive :)

Enjoy :) Sounds like you are in paradise :))))

It is a kind of paradise - an archipelago nicknamed "isles of eternal spring".

According to the WHO, the worlds healthiest climate etc. etc.

Nice surrounding too: have a look at:

But some "perfectionists" just are never satisfied :))

Very lovely pictures.. did you take them? Looks like a nice place to

be, but I shall enjoy my green grass, and nearby cow fields, dense

woods, and the yearly trips to the oceanside. What more could I ask

for, then home?

Thank you for sharing your pictures. :)

Hugs

The pictures i took during hiking - the favorite pastime.

Because the island is so small, in the mountains one

still is breathing air from the ocean :) I didn't ask for a

life of leisure - when so, i would have had to work hard to earn

a living!

Love,

Jan

Hi Jan,

i didn't ask for such a life either, and even more unusual at age 36

perhaps -- but nobody controls what circumstances happen in life. In my

case, no particular liking for society, and apparently the attitude is mutual.

Just returned from a "vacation" on the coast of Oregon (4 1/2 hours drive

each way) -- actually, more "work" than encountered in several years :-).

Hi Tim,

Probably very few did ask for the life the way that developed...

The perspective "everything is perfect as it is" is known here

and considered just as useful as "all matter is but thought" - that

doesn't enable one to walk through a wall :)

That nothing can be changed but oneself is true but also a kind

of fatalism, in the sense that processing a small stone into a sculpture

could be a 1 day job but with the Rocky Mountains, not so.

The pics you made are great - the one attached is a sight familiar!

Empty beaches, great:)

Joy,

Jan
