Guest guest
>> But rather than stamping out these reactions, we can also see them as part of the totality, as part of What Is. Then the perfection becomes obvious. << Ah, Kheyala... thank you. Yes, I have experienced this as true, as I have also experienced my desire to reject or my action rejection of my pain (and the brat/monster within), so have I experienced the Perfection they are part of. It is, as much that is spiritual (isness) experience, paradoxical. When I am able to do what you describe, I and the pain are one and there is no judgement, so there is, actually, no pain. Twould be so nice if I were able to be in a Self realized state constantly, but even the brief glimpses I receive (or am) are worth all this experience of duality and its rising falling breath of opposites. Ah, well, now I am feeling/thinking to share another song. Poetry says these things better than I can with ordinary words. Shanti ~ Linda "Face the Storm" 1. The storm's coming in across the river; storm's coming in, 'cross the mountainside. The wind blows so fierce, it makes me shiver. Oh, but you know I don't want to hide. I want to... face the storm; meet in head on; hold the Power in my hand... embrace the storm, standing my own ground. I won't back down; I'm being, I'm being born. 2. The clouds are so dark, above the water; clouds are so dark, you can scarcely see. I might be afraid, but I'm Heaven's daughter, and the stark raving madness will not move me, and I want to... face the storm; meet in head on; hold the Power in my hand... embrace the storm, standing my own ground. I won't back down; I'm being, I'm being born. There never was birth without a little pain; there never will be growth without rain. So shake the Earth; I will not fall. You know I'm in Love with It All. 3. The thunder beats a rhythm against the hillside; the thunder beats a rhythm; it echos in my bones... of the the gifts that I've been given over a lifetime; of the drumming in my heart, thats calling me Home, and I will... face the storm; meet in head on; hold the Power in my hand... embrace the storm, standing my own ground. I won't back down; I'm being, I'm being born. There never was birth without a little pain; there never will be growth without rain. So shake the Earth; I will not fall. You know I'm in Love with It All. copyright Linda Talbott 2001

Anyway, I am really glad it helped you as it did me. You said, " When I am able to do what you describe, I and the pain are one and there is no judgement, so there is, actually, no pain." Isn't this the most Amazing Thing?! Isn't this the Best News there could Possibly be?? This makes me laugh and dance and sing! And smile BIG and want to hug people I don't know! This is the most basic, and yet, one of the most miraculous experiences a human being can have! Jai! Jai! Then you said, "...the brief glimpses I receive (or am) are worth all this experience of duality and its rising falling breath of opposites." This is true Gratitude: for All of it. Very, very rare indeed. So precious. "Ah, well, now I am feeling/thinking to share another song. Poetry says these things better than I can with ordinary words." Isn't this because of the purity of the "pouring through" that you described? There is such a force to It that there is no chance for any "imaginary dust particles" to get in. Your lyrics have such Heart in them. I wish I knew the melodies so I could sing them too! And the chords... Do you have a CD or tape? Singing with the Heart...it is such a divine expression. (Anyone can sing with their mouths, but you know, anyone can sing with their hearts, too. :) Love to you, Linda, and everyone else on the entire planet and everyone else on every other planet, (Jeeze, I just can't help myself) Kheyala
