Guest guest
Namaste All, According to Ramana there are three theories of creation. 1. A God created it. 2. It arises as one perceives it. 3. It never happened at all. There you have the stages or paths of the devotee seeking moksha. Very simply to my mind, if something is universally conscious there can be no creation for what looks at what? For any perception to occur there must be non universal consciousness in some form. Sankara said it is real whilst one is in it. So yes I feel love and emotions etc but now I am aware of what they are and I observe the sensation arising and sometimes let it pass so no action arises. Action or Rajas is creating, the potential energy is disturbed and creation arises. Without a vibration or a thought stuff there is no creation. Therefore it is all unreal, energy goddess whatever. Nirvana means stop blowing or moving. Nirguna!! I don't need to read the sages to understand that, and only I know what I have experienced or realised. We all experience the extinguishing of the goddess and creation in deep sleep, therfore it is unreal. All the dimensions of physical and subtle are finer or thicker forms of the same energy or thought stuff, hence also unreal. Whilst we are in it we experience it for we are part of it. Once we realise we aren't individual all individualims disappears and so does creation. IMO.......ONS......Tony.

However, since there is no "non universal consciousness" -- yet perception occurs anyway -- the logical answer is 'incorrect'. If unprepared for paradox, stay away from the 'nondual teachings' -- paradox arises often. If the mind can't deal with it (leave it alone), don't mess with the teachings. There are no answers to questions... only an ending to the cycle of questions and answers. > Nirvana means stop blowing or moving. Nirguna!! To thought, Reality is Nirguna. "Nirguna" might as well be translated as "unknown." Better than the usual translation of "nothing" -- which can be (and sometimes is) badly misinterpreted as "dry, sterile, empty."
